MIEZ slippers – affectionately known as “pappucce” – take inspiration from traditional Friulane footwear. Originally made by Friulian women using recycled fabrics and repurposed bicycle tires, these lightweight, comfortable shoes were perfect for summer and daily life.

Later adopted by Venetian gondoliers for their silence and practicality, this timeless model lives on through MIEZ, which reinterprets the classic shape using soft, colorful velvet in a wide range of shades. All models are handmade in Italy with great care and artisanal expertise.
